Sofiya Baran

Sofiya Baran is a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Stanley Black and Decker. Sofiya graduated with a Physics and Mechanical Engineering Dual-Degree from Stonehill College and the University of Notre Dame. When starting her career, she always looked forward to making a difference at a company. Implementing Tulip out on the shop floor has been one of her most rewarding projects and she couldn’t have done it without the frontline operators. She believes the opportunities for improvement in a manufacturing environment are endless and she can’t wait to be a part of the change.
